Roles decide what each person can see and do. The audit trail shows what they did.
Four roles out of the box
Owner, sales rep, inventory manager and accountant. Each maps to a real job.
Permissions per area
Read or write, decided per part of the business. A rep cannot post a purchase; an accountant cannot create an order.
Every entry named
Who, when, from which device. Nothing is anonymous, nothing is deleted without a trace.
Shifts and expected cash
Sales, cash and transfers tallied per person per shift. Closing is a number, not an argument.
The big things stay with the owner
Price changes, refunds and discounts are limited to the owner role.
Invite in a minute
Enter their phone number and pick a role. They sign in on the app with that number.
Enter a staff member’s phone number and choose a role: sales rep, inventory manager or accountant. They sign in to the Wayg app with that number and see the screens for that role. Everything else is locked.
The activity feed is the whole business in order: every sale, purchase, count and correction with a name on it. Filter by person, by day or by kind of entry.
Each staff member’s cash, transfers and credit sales are tallied through the shift. At close, the app shows what should be in the till. Differences are recorded, not argued about.
A sales rep can record a sale by chat but cannot post a purchase. The assistant follows the same permissions as the app.
