How it works
You don't need to sell anything. Tell business owners you know about Wayg and send them your link. When they use it, you earn.

Share your link
Open Profile in the Wayg app and copy your referral code, or tap Share link to send it on WhatsApp, Instagram or anywhere else.

They sign up with it
Your link fills in your code at signup. If they forget, they can add it in Profile within 30 days of signing up, as long as they haven't paid yet.

₦5,000 for an active business
We give every business you refer a 30-day activity goal: recording real sales and sending invoices and receipts from the app. When it completes the goal and we've checked the records, you earn ₦5,000. This counts on the Free plan too.

20% when they pay
If they move to a paid plan, you earn 20% of every subscription payment they make within 12 months of signing up. This comes on top of the ₦5,000. The sooner they upgrade, the more you earn.
What you can earn
Every business you refer can earn you ₦5,000 for its first 30 active days, plus 20% of what it pays in its first year. The table shows the 20% on each plan at today's prices. You can earn up to ₦100,000 a month across all your referrals.
Example
You refer 4 businesses. All 4 complete their 30-day goal, and 2 of them pay for Growth monthly from the start. You earn ₦20,000 from the goals, then ₦10,000 every month for a year from the 2 paying businesses.

Payments made within 12 months of the business signing up count, so the most you earn is when they pay from day one. Add ₦5,000 for each business that completes its 30-day goal.
The rules
We pay for businesses that actually use Wayg. Every referral is checked by a person before it's paid, so the program stays fair for everyone in it.

In the Wayg app, open Profile. Your referral code is there with a Copy button, and Share link sends your link straight to WhatsApp or any other app. On the web it's on your profile page.
No. Every Wayg account has a referral code, including accounts on the Free plan.
Run their business on Wayg for 30 days. We set them an activity goal: recording real sales and sending invoices and receipts from the app over that time, the way any business using Wayg would. A business that sells regularly and records what it sells will reach it. Sales have to be new, entered during the 30 days. Old or backdated sales don't count.
Yes. A business that completes its 30-day goal earns you ₦5,000. If it also pays for a plan, you also earn 20% of the payments it makes within 12 months of signing up. Both count toward the ₦100,000 monthly limit.
We're paying for real businesses that use Wayg, not sign-ups. A person on our team looks at what each referred business has recorded before a reward is approved. Honest referrals are never affected, and it stops anyone gaming the program at everyone else's expense.
Once a month, in naira, to a Nigerian bank account, once your approved earnings reach ₦5,000. We'll contact you when a referral qualifies to confirm your payout details. You can also get in touch any time to ask how your referrals are doing.
Not if they're quick. They can add your code in Profile within 30 days of signing up, as long as they haven't made a payment yet.
No. Refer as many as you like. The only limit is on what you can earn in a single month: ₦100,000. If you work with lots of businesses, as an accountant or consultant for example, talk to us.
Send them your link today. When they run their business on Wayg, you get paid for bringing them. Referrals count until 31 December 2026.
